BIG and EXCITING changes ahead...

Gordon and Bekah get married NEXT WEEK!

I only have 3 DAYS LEFT in the Registrar's Office!

I move to Maryland in 16 DAYS!

One month from today I will no longer be employed by PBU.  Whoa

Plus, I've decided I don't really want to be a grown up just yet.  I kind of rushed into this thing what with going to college early and now having a Master's degree at 24.  I think I'd like someone else to take care of me for a while as I have zero motivation for "the next big thing".  So, does anyone want to pay me to exist for, oh I don't know, the next year or so?

Including today I have 19 days left in the office as PBU's Credential Specialist.  Believe me, the end cannot come quickly enough!  With the students gone it is very quiet and lonely around here which makes for very l..o..n..g.. days... I cannot believe the end is finally in sight.  YIPPEE   Now, if I can only survive another 19 days

I have also concluded that I eat an average of 1 grilled cheese sandwich every day.  They have become a staple in my life.

Chris has begun sorting through some of our closets to prepare for our move next month.  The task is daunting (it's amazing how much clutter can build up over 4 years!) but so exciting because it means the next chapter is beginning

This morning I handed in my letter of resignation from my position at PBU .  My official last day as the Registrar's Office Credential Specialist is Wednesday, July 11th .  It's funny - I thought when this time came I would feel elated  and I do feel relieved for sure.  However, I also feel scared because now I'm stepping out into the unknown.  It's like, my security blanket will be gone and I must now face the music.  Things we've been talking about for years are about to happen - moving down to Maryland, starting work as a professional counselor, finding another part-time job... All unknowns right now but in faith I am believing that the Lord Jesus has brought Chris and I to this point and will continue to show us His faithfulness to meet our needs.  I appreciate everyone's prayers as we embark on a new chapter of life!

edit: 2:00 - the elated feeling is getting stronger as the day goes on
edit: May 30th - the elated feeling keeps growing and growing, sometimes I get plain giggly
